This "CNC Machined" V6 90 degree iron block was designed for sprotsman racing. Same as block 1018551 except it has 4 bolt nodular iron main bearing caps with grade eight bolts.

My other Bowtie Motor, going in the new Ty 2WD build, started out as an Katech built ASA/ARCA motor producing 530 hp NA. I used the block and heads. I changed the crank, rods, pistons and cam. This is a dry sump motor.

Bowtie motors are expensive and are not needed for most high hp builds that we see on the BB. Many high hp stock block builds are seeing 11s and 10s and some on the edge have seen 9s. The extra expense may add some insurance against breakage, but as we all know, we are cabable of breaking almost everything associated with these trucks!
