OK heres the deal,Rat(AAron) IS my friend and a good friend. I really dont think he was trying to start shit.(no more than any one else on here anyway)but you guys all know what it takes to build one of these(well maybe if you spent more time building than typing you would)and I have had NO help from anyone on syty nore have I ever asked! The last month of my life has been spent making my truck NHRA legal JUST so I could go to the nats this year and not get kicked off the track(which is why AAron call KCIR to see how strick they were going to be on our trucks) I am not a rich guy and I had to spend alot of money and time to do this,DONT think I wanta rollcage in my truck because I DONT.........I am a street racer and dont want people to know what I have,but I do now and the nats are the only reason!

Anyone that knows me will tell you what kind of person I am........Alex has been to my house,ridden in my truck and is one of my best friends and so is AAron...........so if you guys are so BENT out of shape because someone that does not even live in the USA cant run his truck because they did not do their home work(NHRA rule book) I will not bring my truck to the nats and everyone can watch Roberts truck SIT.......unless maybe he wants to go street racing :tup:

Last I was aware..... SyTy Nats ISNT a NHRA sanctioned event. yet a privately held event made possible by owners and enthusiasts.

Therefore, why dont you guys have some respect for the COORDINATORS and let them run the event as they see fit for everyone to have a good time.

we want you to come, everyone wants everyone to go.

we don't need anyone trying to get anyone else disqualified from running at the track. If you are asking for your own knowledge, fine.. but calling the track and making statements about other people's trucks is just childish.

Thats true but is a NHRA track and that is why AAron called...........I did not want to get kicked off the track and for the record I will race anyone anywhere even if it is just for fun but if I have to abide buy the rules so does the next guy! they have a week get the f --k to work!!!!!!!!!!

not the most mature way of handling things, but it is how you decided to do so.:roll:

I hope you and robert get to race headsup, I also hope some other fast trucks show up and get to race

well I didnt talk to them AAron did but its to late now and I dont know if I am even going now..............Robert is not the only guy that has ever wanted to win the nats and this is the reason I only post on here once and a while to much BULLSHIT

Nobody has ever been kicked out of the Nats.
I guess if they are going to NHRA tech the trucks,I'll just sit in the pits and hang out with everyone.

You are correct,the syty nats is not an NHRA sanctioned event, but KCIR is an NHRA sponsored track,,,,,,,even if the track is rented by a private party...what happens if a 8 sec truck without the proper safety equipment blows a tire,hits the wall and rolls down the track,and the driver is killed?......do you think NHRA would be happy with the owners of KCIR for letting the truck run w/out proper safety equip?......good way to lose your NHRA sponsorship.....just a thought.

Can you answer this: Why do you have down pipes exiting behind the wheels if you are a street racer and wanna be stealth (obviously you have TT, and you can hear the turbos), why do you have drag radials and different rims, and gauges and an exposed bed with fuel cells and everything else. I think that would tip off any street racer right away, I know it would me.

Seriously though....
Has anyone contacted a coordinator to find out what the word is on safety and how KCIR/coordinators are handling safety concerns instead of assuming?

Abide by the rules? :roll: What are the rules exactly in street racing? Don't slam into that minivan full of toddlers?

You'd rather race a guy on a public road than a racetrack? BRILLIANT.

I dont have drag radials on different rims and as I have noticed with most of the people on syty you dont have a CLUE of what street racing is about and the reason AAron called the track is because I DO NOT WANT TO GET DISQUALIFIED FOR ANY REASON or do I need to print that in CRAYON shit man read the words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and ya you do risk alot when you street race but everyone takes the same chance just like everyone has the same rules at a track GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying not to be a jerk but you guys just dont get it..........if I have to abide by the rules so does Robert and everyone else and that is FAIR...they knew for a long time they were comming out here and really guys how fu_king dumb do you have to be to not know where to get NHRA rules..INTERNET I know you all have it or we would not be talking on IT!!!!!!!!!!

I asked three simple, logical questions. Was given a very sketchy answer regarding an email that gave permission to break the rules. I knew that was a crock. So I called for clarification (called a friend at NHRA on his cell, not the track). Asked a few general questions. Never mentioned the Nats or what country the car was from, just Europe. Got an answer that contradicted what I was told on the web--no big suprise. Got the real answer. Still with no contact of KCIR about the specifics. When I tried to present the facts, everyone's KY ran out and the physical threats began. I was publicly chastised and an attempt was made to attack my character and humiliate me. All to no avail.

So the meandering continues...
