the guy didn't do anything wrong in the video to go to his boss and say something... if you're his boss what are you gonna do? There's nothing you can call him on... "hey uhh if customers have a cool truck don't look in the window"?? All he's gonna do is say "si, yes boss" and that's the end of it. You can't fire him for it.
if you think he's a creeper, keep the camera on it, don't leave anything in it, and yank the fuse.
I doubt anything will come of it though... guaranteed the guy has no idea what it is and won't steal it because he can't put chrome fender flares on it and it's too low to put running boards on it. A chevy bow tie 3rd brake light would look pretty sweet on the roof though... maybe one of those red LED strips to put between the tailgate and the bumper. Or some Audi knock off LEDs to put in the grill or on top of the bumper with drywall screws.
not stereotyping just calling out what I've seen around town.

You can't use drywall screws to install leds! Seriously, that's just asking for rust later!

I usually look in the window to see if I can read the mileage when I see a SyTy. And I try not to do it when the owner's looking so he doesn't think I'm trying to steal it.
Are you by any chance a tree delivery man working in Virginia?
He does look pretty suspicious in the way he lunges to look in it when your mom turns away. You can never be too safe, if you could park it somewhere that's not on the street then that would be much better, but I know that isn't an option in many big cities.
Yes, I would wait until the owner/owner's/whoever walked away before I peered inside. He was obviously interested and checking it out while she was standing there. So she had to notice his curiosity. So he's already identified as a potential suspect if something were to happen.
