Code59 - Call for bins

For you guys that are running code59, there's currently an open call for bins on code59.org.
This is a request to post up your current running bin.

http://www.code59.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=948

We're going to be updating the site soon, and we want a good collection of bins out there when we go live.

Part of the License agreement when you downloaded was that you share your work... so share the love!

Open up a reply to topic window, attach file option should then exist.

My TTv8 bin is posted for everybody to look at also.

This is for sure the most sharing of bins I have EVER seen for the syty world. Anybody not sure if they can handle tuning on their own should just try it.

Re: Code59 - Call for bins

Dig,

I have only changed my bin twice by pulling some timing out of the chip after I added some increased boost psi up to 18.5psi.

Once I get time to mess with my tune, I will definatley post my bin or bins. I plan on runing two bins, one for 18psi, and the second with 21psi.

I'm thankful that you guys share your work around here! It's nice that we do share our work as we can all work together so we can tune or trucks to perfection! Some other sites are not so cooperative. :myclone:

Yeah I remember when you used to get attacked for even trying to figure out 3-bar tunes.

It's less about sharing bins, vs. learning from what the other guy went through.
This is enabling new mods to be tried, and entire new platforms (Nissan 6-banger, anyone?) to be used. And the future looks good for even more applications that we didn't even intend when we started.

We all go faster, when everybody learns from everybody else. Also, we're spawning a whole new group of driveability junkies, too. :)

Posting someone else's commercial work someplace (ie, non code59) is still uncool, IMO. (Unless they say it's ok)

Re: Code59 - Call for bins

A bump for this, since I'm going through all the posted bins right now and uploading them to the new download area.

I'm betting there are more than few guys that have a pretty decent base tune, following Shindig and some of the other events.

I also see 59 in a lot of people's sigs. If you're running it, post it. If you downloaded it, you agreed to the terms, which was that you'd share the resulting tune. If you haven't modified it from the download bin, pop in with a note to that effect.

A big thanks to those that have shared so far. The V8 guys are showing the V6 guys up, which I'm hoping we can turn around... :)

Re: Code59 - Call for bins

Will throw up my 50# bin in a bit, though I imagine it's up already as I've whored that bin out like Adam does his body.

Having just picked up a stock Ty, I'll also have a very refined stock bin up in a few months once I dig my claws into this truck.

Re: Code59 - Call for bins

Truck runs good at start up on mav's 75 bin but right away it goes 9.0-10.2 then bog , bog , bog , silence ..
starts right up again but repeat same condition above . just noticed my fpr adjuster screw was loose and got up to 60 psi . I plan on lowering it to around 40-45ish but wanted to see if mav had a set psi on his tune .

any suggestions ? I dont want to adjust my fpr so idle is on and have the rest of the table suffer so asking more knowledgeable syty gurus seemed in order . TIA
