Hi guys I remember Steve Gavic used a Electric Vacuum pump off of a Corvette on his TY. Steve if you are out there what year vette or better yet do yo have the part number? :-?

this one also works... Elec. Vacuum pump off of 1995 LT-1 Camaro Z- 28, Same with buick roadmaster w/ 5.7 l, Impala SS of same years Lt-1, Part number I'll look up in mitchell.. Hang on... It was coded "AP-EAP" And Cyphers out to be "Air Pump, Electric Air Pump" In the description And were used on any of the engines that had the optical distributor and camshaft driven water pump from 93 up, Ie Fox bodies (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Ams), Impala, Caprice w/ Police Pkg, BuicK Roadmaster, And of Course, Corvette... I would check out the auto recycling facilities and get the wiring harness and relay to use this. As I understand, this set up helps keep the rings sealed and equates to a few more ponies... Alot of the Drag cars have gone to a belt driven vacuum pump for the same reason... If no one else can give you the part number, I will load the parts software update this weekend and get it to you... I have to find the disk.. Steve.
