I have met a few women motorheads. One, in fact, had some alum heads sitting on the floor of her apartment, waiting to be installed on her car, by her too. I think Cheryl and Mrs. Harmon understand also.. :rotf:

Well, LOL.. Just told her about it & she said does not want to talk about that right now.. LMAO.. I told her what I posted on here also, so I hope she gets the point don't ever ask agin.

If you let them drive sometimes they have more sympathy. Woman came home and said snooty woman in a caddy jumped the light and cut into her lane. I said take the ty next time.
Prior to all this she wouldnt even sit in it because I bought it totaled. Women think junk cant be fixed and it gets in every argument...
Now she came home, her car dirty, ty all clean and said "I'm taking that.. "Thing" .
Came home saying favorable things, and said "wow I got home early"
Buying parts is cool now!

I would never be with a woman who didn't understand. When ever I went through those times where I was fixing things for a couple weeks she would start to voice her opinion where she was rapidly reminded that I don't NEED anyone and that my truck was there before she was.

Of all my vehicles, the truck gets the LEAST respect from the women ( I have learned to NOT take it on a first date, I used to do that ) ... but HANDS DOWN the most respect from my buddies.
I have buddies that love muscle cars, vettes, newer "hot rods" ... but they ALL agree that the SY is "mystical" ... "something about that truck" HAHAHAH ... makes me laugh ---

Mine too. She "refused" for me to buy it and now wont let me think about selling it. She is a wierd bird though, she wont let me get rid of it but bitches about parts it needs. I just tell her that she better get used to it.....it will be here long after she leaves.

My g/f totally understands & ends up explaining to people alot more then me as to what the Syclone & the Typhoon are. She loves them both and will not let me sell the Syclone & is pissed that I'm selling the Typhoon. I'll be keeping her around for a while, lol!!! Oh and hardly anyone on this Island I live on has a clue as to wtf they are and ask me why I own a Black S10 & a black Blazer, they think they're just POS trucks until they get the lowdown.

most women could care less about value or usefulness of what they are driving, I don't want a vehicle I can't haul something or race and beat. I'm a competitive person:rotf:
Edit: I will say I didn't know much about these trucks before Harmon but I've always been a GM girl

all the females i work with think it's just an old ugly little pickup lol.. even the one very attractive motor head female that runs quick8 class each weekend is like "well there's nothing special about the looks of it" and "it looks like a standard pu you'd see anywhere"
these trucks definitely don't get them wet like a vet, hell they all love my mustang though

my GF wants me to just drop mine off at the junkyard. She HATES it and thinks it's a total POS! LOL that's probably because I have been using her car for the last 6 months since I can't figure my TY out...
