Alrighty guys, its time to show everyone what happens when FAST/GAST shows up at Nats. With any luck, I'll see about getting some of the key SoCal players to show up...and then its game on and it turns to every man for himself as far as pranks go. Lets get a plan going on getting a caravan set up.

Whos attending, where ya located. Lets figure out some meeting points for us.

If you come up 75, Me, Pope, & Jimmy will meet you guys in Macon, GA. If coming up 95 (can't imagine why) then I'll stay at home and wait for you all to come get me out of bed.

Welp, it looks like Ocala or Gainsville would be a good spot for the FL crew to meet and group up.

Last time me and Ian went to the GA meet, we took Hwy 40 and blasted through the Ocala National Forrest. Good open road for some throttle blasts, downside is that there is absolutely NO phone reception until you gear near 75.

Yeah, I'd go up 75 like you guys came to the Reynolds meet. We'll meet up with you guys in Macon, then..........& I'll cut to the front of the line.

As long as that red Honda that was trying to keep up with me and Adam last time still gets pulled over and not us for doing 35+ over. I don't care which way we go.

At this point I am 50/50 on going. My tax rebate's a weeeeeeeee bit more then I thought it might be, which means the truck will be about 90% done by June. (unless the engine builder is that far behind.) But I'll have to let you guys know.

I should note im in the same position with me going. 2008 wasnt so nice of a year for me and beat my ass hardcore. 2009 has started ok and is very very slowly getting better i think?, but im still drowning and still trying to get some things taken care of.

Nats is not a priority of me, but dont mix that up with me not wanting to go... I do....and with my truck. But if time and funds dont allow, im not pushing my luck any more than I need. Im already on borrowed luck as is. I gotta be sure to pay some of it back :2cents:

Re: FAST / GAST Nats Caravan

are any of you guys coming through nc?there is a bunch of us leaving from here.
Nah...that'd be considerably out of the way. FL guys to GA, up I-75 to I-24 in Chattanooga, I-24 to I-65 in Nashville, and I-65 on into Bowling Green. Nearly a straight shot and easy to make good time (I just took this route a couple of months ago to buy the Black/Grey Ty in Indiana).
