FS – 91 Syclone with 957.8 original miles. The truck is 99% stock and mint. It is one of the, or the, lowest mile OEM Syclones in the country. She even has the original tires that still hold 35psi. I am only selling her because my wife and I are going to be having our second child and it is time to sell off the “un” family friendly vehicles. It really saddens me to have to sell my Sy. I have really grown attached in the short time I have owned her.
She runs and drives as new. When I bought her, I had all of the plugs, filters and fluids replaced. I had all the correct items for a stock truck added. For example – NGK UR6 plugs, Taylor 8mm black wires, MSD brass terminal cap and rotor, Mobil 1 10W-30 full synthetic oil and Mobil 1 filter, Dex/Merc III tranny fluid with red bottle LubeGard, WIX tranny filter and fuel filter, Lucas 80W-90 gear oil in front and rear, 50/50 coolant with water wetter and 50/50 coolant in the intercooler. Just get in and drive her anywhere.
The truck has been garaged since day one and has never seen rain. Her paint has been washed, waxed and claybarred regularly to keep her appearance up.
Everything works as it should aside from two items. The ABS light is on. There is power going to the unit but I have not had time to try the fixes I have found on the forum. The brakes are strong even with the ABS light on. And, the A/C blows cool and not cold. It still is the factory R12 and could use a recharge. I did have the system pressure tested and no leaks were found.
The only item to go wrong was the heater core went out. I had that changed and was able to wipe up the small bit of coolant that did leak out. None soaked into the carpet or floor mat one bit.
I have numerous Syclone items that come with the truck. What accompanies the sale is – original window sticker, original GMC brochure, the original Certificate of Authenticity, a newspaper from 91 that has a full page ad for Syclones, a 40x60 Cracker Barrel poster that is still unopened, two baseball card type stickers that have the Syclone description, both set of keys with dealer tags to make new ones, wheel cap key, 92 Syclone carpeted floor mats, aluminum Syclone license plate, numerous magazine articles from 1991, original owners manual and service supp manual and nearly all paperwork from day one.
Lastly, the drivers side rocker panel cladding was replaced with a factory OEM unit by the previous owner. The one that was on her originally had a very small scratch from being shipped. I do have the one that came on the truck bubble wrapped and it has been repaired. The factory rivets that hold the cladding on the bottom are the only pieces missing. It is currently secured with zip ties. The piece is secured very solid. As solid as if the rivets were there. I have not gotten around to locating a new set off rivets so, I will subtract from the price for what the rivets cost upon the sale.
If anybody has any questions, please feel free to ask. You can call me at home at (619) 334-2006 or PM me or email me at krcbeans@gmail.com. My name is Kevin. I encourage any perspective buyer to come by and take a peek if you’re in the neighborhood. I live in east county San Diego. I have $25K into her with shipping and all. I am looking to get $22,000.00 OBO. Thanks for looking.
