I also have GT3788R for sale as well. This is the same exact turbo I have on my truck and I love it. Part# 759361-5001S. It is an internal gate turbo with a range from 19-24PSI, its currently setup towards 19psi. The wastegate actuator can be swapped out for a lower spring pressure if you want it lower, but thats on you. It does use the same exact outlet flange as the GT32's Im selling. Asking price is $1500OBO plus shipping. Onto the pics:

Re: Garrett turbos

I'm guessing he means $750, since that's what his linked ad says.

I dont know how I missed that when I reread it cause it is $750. I'll correct the price right now.

There is an "obo" still attached to it. My Jeep was just stolen earlier today, so I am open to reasonable offers.

Re: Garrett turbos

Damian, an you take some pics of the inside of the dual scroll turbine housing? I'm curious how the internal gate works with 2 scrolls, does it bleed off both sides somehow, or just one?

Thanks! The Gt32/40 is gonna be a hot ticket, that'd be an amazing turbo. In fact, after seeing pictures of the inside of the turbine, you might get an offer :)

I've been extremely busy lately and completely forgot about your request. I'll get home in about an hour and a half and I'll get them right away for you. Family in from NE, Jeep stolen then recovered, blown head gasket and electrical problems now on the Ty has sucked the life out of me!

Re: Garrett turbos

I must say I was wrong about the wastegate setup on these. The wastegate port is only on one side, NOT both. The other runner goes in as far as I can see. The pics I took are kinda hard to see but it's the best I can get with my crappy IPhone 4S.

Re: Garrett turbos

You would have to tune for it. The turbo characteristics are quite a bit different than the stock turbo.

Re: Garrett turbos

Edited the first post. Added a turbo (my spare/backup) and adjusted prices on other 2 turbos. I also added a link to the correct exhaust flange that will work with all 3 turbos.

Re: Garrett turbos

A little more info:

The GT3276 (420-450hp) and the modded GT40 (550hp) are journal bearing turbos with an adjustable wastegate spring pressure of 18-23psi. Both are oil only, NO water cooling. Still work just fine, just dont beat on it before you shut the engine off, or invest in a turbo timer to prevent coking of the oil.

The GT3788R (650hp) is a ball bearing turbo with an adjustable wastegate actuator of 19-24psi. Oil and water cooled. You still want dont want to beat on it before you shut the engine off or invest in a turbo timer, but the water cooling helps keep temps down, so it wont be much of an issue.

All 3 turbos: T3 twin scroll, internally wastegated, include the actuator, are brand new/never used.
