i have a black sy, a black ty, a black DD, 2 black guitars, my room is painted pretty close to black, almost my entire wardrobe is black, you get the point. But i just don't like blacked out wheels on black cars. it's too much. I can tolerate the rims with the polished lip, but not all black. Maybe its because the black on the rims is a different shade of black than the truck?
There's the one guy on here that repainted his sy charcoal grey with the grandsport ZR1's and it looks outstanding. There's just gotta be some color contrast. Don't think i'm hating on just the black rims, i don't like chrome either hahaha. I like plain ol polished rims. Shiney when they're cleaned up, not too blingy, and are a nice accent. Afterall rims shouldn't draw all the attention away from the truck itself.
But then again what the hell do i know? just my :2cents:
oh yeah and i agree with the other posts about the drums... flat black or maybe get the brembo aluminum drums? dont wanna draw too much attention to those either haha... not trying to be a dick, althought i'm sure i sound like one haha.

My 2 cents are to keep the rotors and Calipers painted black! Or Silver wouldn't look bad but the red just stands out way too much against the black wheel.
Does anyone have these wheels in Black Chrome! These all looked like painted wheels.
Would like to see pictures of the Black Chrome wheels.
