Well, a few months have passed and the truck has gone into typical syty mode.....ie. on jackstands sitting there laughing at me.
So after speaking to tom and dameon at sportmachine.net a bunch of times they came and picked up the truck. So far the plan is to have them do a SS exhaust, motor wire harness, install the fuel cell, install the pump/filter. The major thing was the harness and tune. Ill keep the thread going, but tom will be starting a thread on their site with my truck.

I just a couple weeks ago sold my 97 gmc sonoma that was the same color as yours, 2wd, extended cab 4.3 5 speed. Looking through your thread made me miss it :*(
I will look forward to seeing this completed. If you have it back in time drive it to the hooters meet in NJ!

Nice trucks. I'm really excited about the truck getting finished. Tom will post progress.

well the truck is next in line at the shop. sat seems to be the work start date. i think he waited till it wasnt so hot out because he wants me to agree to let him remove the ac for "estetic reasons"(sp). i totally agreed. second gen s10 has a huge ac box on the fire wall because the motor is set back more than the first gens. so it would def clean it up.

Its coming along nicely. Its taking a bit longer than we all expected, but it will definately be worth the wait. We will be posting more info soon.
