on my way home tonight. coming up to a red light. i see a 98 rust stang (year?). of course i roll up next to him. cross light start to change. i start to boost, but its the turn only arrow goes. i let off and the BOV opens and the front of the truck drops back down. the guy looks over at me with a grin. why? maybe because i didn't smoke them while i was in the gas. what does he know. turn arrow changes i start to boost again. green light IM gone. i see him in my rear view with in a second. i pulled on him by about 4 to 5 cars. next light red again. he's next to me revving the piss out of the rust stang. cross lights change. i start to boost, but this time i let him go for a second or 2. launch and blow by him again. we finally come up to the next light he pulls up behind me. and in big chrome letter's i have "HAVE YOU SMOKED A FORD LATELY". i don't think he liked that to much.

I drive two Mustangs in addition to my Syclone, but I'm not an "anything" guy.

Our trucks are wonderfully quick stock, and easy to modify. Not to mention the AWD factor from a stop. Regardless, if you rolled up to me in my '89, you'd get annihilated. How would you dig it if I then posted that I made some Brand X kid look like an ass? I didn't think so. No need to be a dick.

Obviously they are gonna get honors on here, that's why I don't post my Mustang kills or times here. Or anything about it. That's not the point. The dude made a generalization and dogged someone because his truck is faster. I just took an opportunity to remind him that his truck is not faster than every Mustang out there, and just because someone drives a certain make of car doesn't make that person an idiot or fanboy.

I'm a car guy, and people that hate on some type of car because it's not theirs piss me off.

See that's what's funny. No My Mustang is not faster than every Syclone but unless he's one of the top 5 or 6 fastest Sy's in the world, then yes, I will smoke him. Big difference in what I said to what he said.
I'm not racing stock cars, and talking shit. As far as what the Mustang runs, suffice to say that twin T03's pushing 15lbs into a stroked 302 is more than enough to run the times.
