I bet that most people on the board with a Typhoon can agree that this damn rear window pisses them off. I for one am tired of re-greasing and applying electrical tape to the hook and pin on the rear window to keep the squeak away.
I don't have the equipment to fabricate something myself, but do you think someone could possibly find a way to re-create these parts in a solid, strong ABS plastic? I'm guessing that would make the squeaking go away right? Or maybe some kind of silicone gel covers (similar to the protective ipod covers) that would be durable enough to not wear out too quickly?
If all else fails I guess we could just....get Syclones instead =\
