Re: Is this legit or is he crazy?

He bought that Ty ~10years ago for 10k and all he has done is ruin the wheels and drill hole in the firewall to mount the ignition. From the reports I have heard it's a lot rustier than he is leading on. Someone a few years ago was trying to buy it and he kept raising the price on him. Some thing like everything's he talk to him the price went up 1K.

Doug in NY (?) who owns every single color Typhoon was trying to buy it. He gave up cause D.O. was just a complete douche to deal with.

The amount of money that he owes his mother approximates $80,000. The exact sum due is unknown because he tracks his loans "loosely" and "the nature of the repayment is somewhat far off." Moreover, he has no job (though he is apparently well-educated and highly skilled) and lives in his mother's house. She lives elsewhere and, according to him, has a finite estate. Yet, her assets have been used by him to pay for his credit cards, his attorneys, and a lawsuit he initiated against a local municipality, among other things. Simply put, loans from Mrs. Olivares' assets support him, as he acknowledged. Most troubling though is that many of the loans and expenditures from that finite estate were made after he secured from his mother a power of attorney to act on her behalf. And, as mentioned above, little to no evidence appears of record illustrating that repayment will be forthcoming in the near future. This is of import since under the power of attorney, his debts will be forgiven upon the death of his mother.

So what we have here is evidence from which a factfinder could reasonably conclude that though Olivares has the ability to earn wages and care for himself, he opted to live off his potentially incapacitated mother and expend her finite estate for his own benefit. More importantly, much of this self-dealing occurred after he became her fiduciary via a power of attorney.

TLDR; He uses his mother's money to finance lawsuits/etc, wants to become the ward for his incapacitated mother (and eventual estate). Is denied.

Damn.

Good for him probably that Texas no longer executes "mentally challenged" persons...

I read two sentences of that ad and knew it was Dennis. He is quite the character and I laugh as I reminisce.

Seriously on the truck though. In good stock condition what "should" it be worth, based on the color rarity? That color IMHO should not have been solid it would have looked 100% better with the silver/grey/anthricite whatever claddings.

I am fully not intirested in it, but if it could be gotten for its current real value and properly restored is what I am asking.

Absolutely mint, and absolutely stock... Maybe 2k more than the average mint comparable Ty with similar mileage and in a common color. I'd say 13-14k if MINT and bone stock in perfect running condition I'd say its worth about 7500 now tops, just because of the color rarity.
