All this talk about Vettes makes me want to go out and get another one. So Shaun, what will you be running for tires?

Bang for the buck, IMO there is nothing better. I considered the Nissan GTR but they are hyped up and in the real world, not the car they are publicized to be. Tires.....I'll shred the Goodyear F1's on it and then I think I'm gonna run a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position RFT's. I ran Bridgestone track slicks and Pirelli Dragon's (rain tire) on my bikes and both perform superior to anything else on the market.

Ok, tough guy....let's change it back then . I know of a Z06 that will smoke the Ty he is referring to. I just don't know if I could talk the guy into wasting his time to come prove a point. He races for $3,500 a pop the last I heard. The Z06 I am going to look at in SC Monday has a cam, headers, exhaust and tune. It's not radical enough to be calling out souped up Typhoons and Syclones....well, I better wait until I drive it. I might end up calling all you northerners out to put in my pipe so I can smoke you :tup:

That's what I admire about you guys.....you all are so accomodating :tup: Like I told Jeremy, I need to buy it first before I talk any more smack. Monday evening is the big day. The guy also has a 07 black but the Lemans Blue makes me feel giddy. Wish me luck and remember, it is a GM product so I haven't completely went over to the dark side.

As Bob Barker would say...."Come on down". Are you gonna video tape me handing Jimmy his butt OR the 4 nothern horsemen getting their due from chocolate thunder in Nashville if the money pot is large enough? It's funny....I never mentioned anything about this to begin with and a simple question posed by Jimmy has half the northern kingdom in an uproar to shut down the Z06. I tell ya mate, it appears some hardcore SyTy guys are VERY worried :dunno:.

It isn't a $100,000 car. It was MSRP'd at $69,300 and Jimmy informed me telephonically today he is ONLY interested in a 1/8 mile race at the local track. I heard the track officials are friends with Jimmy and have plans of delaying me 3 seconds at the tree to make it a fair race. Everyone seems to be against the vette......I tell ya, it's a dang blane conspiracy!

Oh, I see. Designing it to be advantageous to you, eh. Well, you might wanna race me for 30 feet then.......and I don't do ricer flyby's but you'll think I started to when I roar by at about the 35 foot mark and you get sucked into my backdraft IF you get a perfect launch. Would you like the 4 ways on as well? You know, I am pretty easy to get along with.

I wish; Money is good but it ain't THAT good. The dealer wanted $25,000 over MSRP ($103,790 base build), not to mention I can exceed the ZR-1 performance in EVERY category on my R6 but good grief, those cars look sick. If they would lay off their stupid dealer mark-up, I'd buy one though!!
