Sounds like Jeff Scott's prom night:tdown:

I heard it was more of a problem of going to early.

At least thats what I saw the last time he was at a track. Gets a bye into the finals, says "You can't red light this truck", then what does he do? Goes early!

No, we could not come to terms regarding the two areas I mentioned to you while I was there. Doesn't matter now though. Thursday at 3:30 AM I leave here to go to Mooresville Indiana to buy a 2007 completely loaded black 2LZ Z06 one owner with 4,xxx miles. It is cherry (at least by the pics) and MSRP'd for $78,133. I am getting it for $57,500 cash (- $31,000 for my NISMO) so I am pumped. Will definately post pics when I get back and Eric or Jimmy can host them for me. Instead of a 36,000 mile powertrain warranty (2006 models), I get the 100,000 mile powertrain warranty . That alone is worth the extra money to me. You gotta see this car!!!!

I've been trying to find a similar deal but so far nothing under 65K unless it's yellow.

mike still have a nice sy for sale

I rode in this Syclone 3 weeks ago and I can tell you this....at 6 lbs of boost, the truck spun all fours off the line and spun again when it shifted to 2nd. I think that is the first Syclone I have ever ridden in that broke loose in 2nd!! The truck looks like glass. Very well preserved, cared for and one of the nicest, tastefully modded Syclones I have seen.

I am truly thinking about it. Actually sitting here discussing it with my wife. I problems I need to resolve are: I don't want to go the classic insurance/registration/inspection route again. I want to drive this truck when I want. NJ has terrible inspeciton requirements. That aside I am looking at typical insurance costs right now. The finance part will not be a problem, just have to work the details in my head. Oh, and have to get Ed Hess to agree to help me keep it running right. As many of you know, I am detail nut and have always kept my trucks looking real clean. With that said, this is exactly the type of truck I've been wanting.

Just toss a set of these on like my buddy did....some 16" bogarts and c5 calipers/rotars...it works wonders for his times, butttt he snapped both axles in half and had to order a new set from mark williams here in town(lpe also carries them).

The stapage....took a full day too replace them.

Hey Ry, please PM the the contact info on Mark Williams when you have time. I'd rather get a set in now before waiting for them to snap because I have some mod plans for this one later on. Nothing radical yet because I don't want to void my B2B and extended powertrain warranty. BTW, what did your buddy run in the 1/4 stock and then after he put on DR's. A few around here just don't believe they will crank out mid 11's all day long in stock form despite all the evidence provided.

I don't think he ever tried it with the stockers...the day after he got it he overnighted some 17" rims and drag radials then switched over to the sixteen inchers, but he ran an 11.4@132 at bandimere this summer...he hasn't gone back on the 16" combo yet. I'm not sure who he talked to at mark williams for his, but he told me lpe has them in stock(he just did a customers z06) and is where he last got them from. Here's my buddies email...nitrousjunkie@comcast.net

Guys are going low elevens and are in the tens with just drag radials in these bone stock all day long....well worth the money for what these cars deliver in performance out of the box.
