Just arrived home with my new Syclone

I just arrived home after a 1,004 mile drive in one day, the first day I only drove 140 miles. Not one issue at all and the truck averaged 19 mpg, all highway driving. I'll post photos tomorrow.

It had under 20,000 miles when I bought it, but now it is slightly over 20,000. I paid $16,500.Yes the market is still low and the reason being is that Syclones are considered "toys". People get rid of their toys when they need money. It is 100% stock and came with the jacket, the Syclone picture in frame and window sticker, brochures, original sales slip and the GM thank you for purchase and car cover.

I plan to keep this truck stock.

I was actually suppose to buy a truck off this forum #005 , but I had to attend a funeral and then I contacted the guy and he never responded back?

Truck #?
I'll post it later after I get it registered in my name ok.

I just got the truck, when I have time I'll be removing the flaps. The first thing I need to do is get the smog check and register the vehicle in my name. It seems to be in good shape considering it is 21 years old now. The air conditioner works too darn well, I froze my butt off with the fan on the lowest position go through the Nevada desert. The engine temp never saw the 1/2 way mark, so I was happy with that.

Re: Just arrived home with my new Syclone

If it got driven on the type of roads those pics were taken on, I'd want mud flaps too. Keeps the road-rash down. I've seen SyTy cladding that looked like it was hit with buck-shot from all the road rash.

My guess is that he'll probably remove them now that it's in San Francisco instead of rural Montana.

Yep you are right, the truck was kept in a garage on a gravel road, but I intend to remove the flaps when I get the time.

I have never considered removing the mudflaps that came already on my Ty. They are smaller and really suite it in my perspective.

Very, very nice score. Rare to see one still sporting the original factory firehawk tires.

Very clean, good find and good buy... I wouldn't let mine go for that.

*Edit* - Edited out exhaust blather. Looks stock now that I looked at all the angles.

Yep... I'd take a real close look at them too, if they're like mine they're starting to crack after 20 years of sitting.

You'll also be amazed at the ride difference you get with a modern tire.
