I had a set of spare ZR-1 rims and Hoosiers sitting around. They are 335/35/17 and they clear the fenders.. I'm not too sure if I like these enough to buy 2 fronts and put these on the truck.

A few pictures of my TY with black zr1's. 17x9.5 in front and 17x11 in rear. I'm hoping for a change next year but for now with two brand new tires in the front they will have to do.

Heres some of the wheels we have done on a syty....

Gold Murciealago wheels, 18x9 front, 18x12 rear

TSW's on the shop truck. 18x8.5 front, 18x9.5 rear

And the Super Stock wheels. 18x9 fronts, 18x10 rears.

i like the gold rims on the black one. didnt see any in pics ,but i think the c5 "wagon" wheels blacked out look good. like 'tytilidie" has.

Debating on changing the wheels on my Typhoon and came across this old thread. Right now I have a set of pre-production 1989 ZR1 wheels 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear. I want to have the swirl in the middle machined out to look more like stock syclone wheels but haven't been able to find anyone to do it.

Here is a picture of the wheels.

Here is the swirl photochopped out:

do it yourself, cut them out, leave a little bit of it on each end ,grind almost flush, sand flat, then refinish them,either paint,polish or chrome them!

Yes, I just sold my S10 i have and decided to keep the Typhoon. So time to finally do the coilover front suspension and some other odds and ends to get her the way i want.

I think your right. I just need to be careful and take my time. I'm picky so I want them close to perfect. I like them because the stock GMC centercaps fit and they fit 315s
