GEMELLI
The Best of Both Worlds
I've been researching for weeks what shocks I want to use on my Typhoon, both here and other sites. Generally, what I've come up with is a whole lot of conflicting part numbers. What is like to do with this thread is combine what we all know to be accurate, without any "I thinks" or "I'm pretty sures", into one, hopefully easy to find thread.
What I know (or think I know) is Syclones and Typhoons have different shocks. The Syclone's shocks were Bilsteins from the factory, and valved for a more sporty (firm) ride than the Typhoon. The Typhoon had a softer set of shocks in the front for a more luxurious ride and load leveling air shocks in the rear. I'm not sure on the Sonoma GT, but will certainly add this info if it comes up.
What I'd like is for you to post what shocks you have on what truck, how you like them, how they compare to stock (or what was on your truck before), did you make any changes to your truck when you changed shocks, is your truck lowered, and most importantly, what part number, front and rear.
