It's a play on the expression, and they make quality goods. I have been a returning customer since 2000 and will continue to buy from them when needed.

I sure would.

Lyle has had a Syclone and numerous GNs, so he knows the territory. Not to mention, the 3 gauge was developed on our trucks. Can't get much more custom than that.

As far as "cutting edge", Lyle made pillar-mount gauge pods at least 5 years before the big corporate outfits got into the business. The concept didn't exist before he started doing it.

Personally I wouldn't care if he wanted to name his company Flatulence... he makes a good product at a decent price.

Yea I got to agree, Lyle's stuff is great quaility and I have been using his products for years. The fit is great, and its made in the US. Thats good enough for me!

I know this is old as fook, but... I just want to verify that the Lotek triple pod attaches in place of the factory pillar, with the factory hardware and without having to modify anything on my truck, such as drilling new holes.

Mine did, no new holes were needed.

Thank you very much for the response! Just for reference, I asked this question on Facebook as well, and it sounds like the Autometer pillar pod attaches the same way, so all that one has to decide is where they would prefer the gauges exactly.

Re: Lotek 3 gauge pod question

Unless Autometer changed there design in the last yr or so it does not attach like the lotek pod.

Lotek places the gauges evenly on the pillar and uses stock mounting holes and does not reuse the factory pillar.
Autometer places the gauges low to the dash and reuses the factory pillar. You are required to drill holes through both pillars to use the supplied push pins to mount the pod.

The lotek is nice for install but places the top gauge very high (imo), if I am remembering right I don't believe you could lower the sun visor all the way as it hit the gauge.
The Autometer places the top gauge a lot lower and angles them towards the driver better (again imo) but it requires a little more effort to install.

I only use the Autometer one as I'm more concerned with placement than having 2 pillars.
Hope that helps :D
