LS1 Ebrake kits...New GP

Re: LS1 Ebrake kits...New GP

Just want to post an update. The cables were delivered to Renz this afternoon, and the additional funds should be there by tomorrow as well, so hopefully in a week or two everybody will have there brackets to make there ebrake kit complete.

this will be more than a one week process. I have to test fit the cables w/ a set of brackets...makes all the brackets, have them powdercoated...pack and ship them...

I will keep everyone updated on where i'm at in the process. I'll post a pic of the cables once i have them in my hands.

Renz, I think HRV6 posted in an eager attempt to give some self release from this whole pitiful situation. I find it ironic that every time HRV6 had a response, it was "2 weeks".....as soon as he tries to set a timeline for YOU it's "1 week". Just an observation. I would let Renz make the posts from here on out concerning the GP.
Oh, and before you give timelines on anything else, be aware, it looks like you still have not PAID the money part. As it "should" arrive soon.....

Good News! I got 2 packages from HRV6 today. One with cables, one with cash. (who sends cash via mail :squint: , not smart HRV6)

Bad News! The box that the cables came in was open on the end and cables were just hanging out:

Good News! All the cables were still inside.

So i will now dive into the brackets full steam. In a perfect world...this is what will happen:
I need at least 1.5weeks lead time to get a 'final prototype' cut and bent and test fitted/installed with cables. Then another 1.5weeks to cut and bend all 14+ sets of brackets. Then another 2 weeks for the powdercoater. Then they're ready to ship...so give me at least a month/month and a half before you all start bitching at me.

But i promise to give pictures/updates of every step along the way so as not to scare anyone into thinking I'm not going to come through for them. Please also remember that i'm doing this to help those not happy w/ the end results of the group buy, NOT to make $ - becuase it'll most likely end up a complete wash by the time i ship everything.

Well no i wasnt trying to give myself any kind if self release. I was merley showing the community that i did what i said i was going to do, and that hopefully this will bring an end to this GP.

Hey is HotRodV6 in Jail yet?!?!?!

btw....

I'm coming over from fullsizechevy.com and I was on pacficp forums and saw that he was selling motors and decided to follow the link to this place that was posted there. I'm glad I did! I need to watch out for this guy on fullsizechevy.com.....total Cheesed!ck....

Your a true Patriot in the marketing business Mike....Ugh! we even have the same first name freakin disgusting!

If you fvcked up in the beginning and are truthful about what happened you should have sent refunds back and told yourself Wooh! I should have thought about it before I did it! Also it doesn't matter if people paid you before you ordered the parts! You should have said wrote that in your original post Jerkhole! Maybe I seem a little bit upset but I'm not I just like to stand up for people who get fvcked in the @ss by bellycrawling suckers like you! I almost fell into your trap on another forum, but I'm not falling into your stupidity.

So I leave you with this final note.....Your lucky your not in jail man! You don't do what you just did with people. I cannot stress the possibility of you getting sh!tted into a footlocker with the crap you pulled. HAVE A NICE DAY! ;)

Re: LS1 Ebrake kits...New GP

Update:

Good News: I got the test cut back from the waterjet. It looks nice, i haven't bent it yet obviously....my vise isn't free to do so  Please note: this is a ROUGH cut, and the smaller legs' edges are a little coarse as you can tell in the picture. Also this is completely unsanded since being waterjetted, thats what the swirly marks are on the metal. This is not how they'll look after final cut. So don't worry...no shark attacks will ensue. Plus remember they will be powdercoated.

Bad News: I leave for a 10 day vacation in an hour and won't have time to bend this, test fit, or ship to someone w/ some cables to test it out. I haven't begun to pack yet, and i think i better leave work and get home and do that  So when i get back this will be my #1 priority to get done.
