The whole reason I put the motor in this truck was to turbo it. Otherwise I would have left it in my 2wd 2nd gen s10.

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

$5500 in current condition, $6500 with fuel system. I took a buffer and some medium grit compound to the paint the other day, it turned out pretty good where I applied it, so this would be a nice truck if the rest of it is done

Someone should count how many times "I don't have to sell it" turns to "must sell" and "could easily part it out for my asking price..." Then you have to take the rest to the salvage yard. Lol, I think its a cool project. Lost interest or ran into something you don't want to do?

Re: ls1 sy"clone" wannabe project

Little bit of both, lost interest and don't want to do it. I don't want to dump another 6k that is needed to turbo it. Its not costing me anything just sitting there in my garage, I'm just not motivated , nor do I have the extra funds to get it going right now, fuel lines are going to cost me about $400-500 and I've either got to change that tank to a gravity feed or change my fuel pump to something that can pull fuel from the tank since my fittings are on top. Both of which I don't want to do, that situation is the main thing that has stopped this project unless I can sell the tank for a couple dollars less than what I paid for it and I'll just order the right one and probably stick this thing together
