Re: motor mounts?
quote: When I talked to Waller and a few other guys about the Energy suspension mounts they said forget it since the exhaust manifolds are right there... They end up melting the urithane.
I did solid lowers on our truck and Moroso Solid engine mounts.
No problems with the engine moving anymore.. actually feels better than floppy mounts.

since my truck is an S10 and not a syty. im thinking of using poly mounts to go with a poly tranny mount. i really don't want to have violent shacking or feel alot of unnecesary vibration from the solid mounts.
im probobly gonna use header wrap on the manifolds and about two feet of the DP. to keep the mount from getting heat soaked and melting them.
i know the wrap makes headers rust faster. but it will def make the under hood temp go down alot. and when they get too rusty, ill just buy some coated headers for a million dollars.
