I feel for you. I had to wear a full TLSO back brace for three months my freshman year of HS. Not very fun. Good luck with a speedy recovery.

Just got home, glad to be home. Car is here in driveway, insurance so far has been very responsive. We will see how the numbers fall. They already offered rental car which I told them I did not need.
Have pics of car but don't have energy to move to server right now and post, been a bit of a rough day but I feel good to be home and alive.

If I had a Honda fit I really suspect I would not be here typing. Any car to take a side impact like and protect me in process is good in my book. My back was weak to start and only broke sure to jarring not a specific impact. At some point I will have another for sure. For now be working on healing and get my Ty running.

I had just moved left to get on it, was accelerating when all hell broke loose. Car went left, then right and down into the trees probably within 1000 ft of on ramp start.

Jeff, I'm glad to hear that you're OK aside from being pretty beaten up. I'll be praying that you have a speedy, and minimally painful, recovery
