mario
You got 4 weeks, dont give up yet!
Mario....I just got up to speed on the fact that the chip isn't there. I can't help the shipping situation, but will track the heck out of it tomorrow. IMO, I've done as much as I can do for you.....so, I can't see a reason for your discouragement. I personally compiled a list of things for you and have shared knowledge with you above and beyond the normal level of our particular acquaintance. So, if you're looking for someone to blame for holding the project up, don't look my way. I picked up the ball as a favor to John and nothing else. I've received no financial reimbursement for my time or effort, and I don't want any....as it would then turn into my obligation, and THAT...it is not.Wallers chip burner toasted the chip. I dropped it by Mike when I was on the way home last week. I think my chip is lost in the mail since Mike said he sent it 3 days ago. I have been trying to get a hold of him but havent. I can tell you right now things move way too slow in the syty world for me. I like to stay on something until its done. Its much more fun in the LSX world. Stuff happens much faster and with less headaches. It seems 90% of the trucks are in pieces in a garage. My truck will run eventually, but none of the discouragements I have dealt with have been because I havent done my part or thrown enough money at it. Its a love more than a hobby. A dream more than an experience. I am done crying now and feel a little better. Truck sure looks good sitting there waiting for a chip and a tune.
I'd pay good money for a Phill long chip right now.
Just got my GMMG Trans Am back from Matt and its consoles me some but as you can see I still need therapy.

About contacting me.....I don't frequent the store as much as I used to since my computer company has taken more of my time. Couple that with being a newlywed and having a lot of changes in my life away from work....and well.....yeah, I'm kinda hard to get ahold of these days. But I told you that on the phone. I also told you that I was gonna have to wait on the bins from John. So, it wasn't until Tuesday that I actually had something to work with.
So, I apologize on behalf of the post office and hope that the chip arrives promptly. I'll still be glad to help you out in the future with the truck, but somehow I've come out feeling like the guy who held up your truck's build.....and that just isn't the case.
Glad to hear Mario. LMK when you get the Ostrich wired in and I'll shoot you some bins over to play with.Got it running and man it feels good after so much work. Mike did a great job on the chip and Waller's work was excellent. I was pretty surprised how the idle and drivability improved after time. Phil longs chip will be a great base to work from. Shindig is definitely a possibility. Its been wild ride emotionally. Feeling pretty good right now

Adam and I have talked.....farthest driven will get some kind of reward. It may be green, foldable, and not worth as much as the Euro right now. It might be clear, flammable, and worth more than the Euro right now. Then again, it might be a signed picture of BG from the 2001 Nationals.I am in, Jeremy told me if we drove his dually down we could get there AND back on 1 tank of gas. I was thinking, wow they got that thing tuned in. Sweet. I am game.
Saturday he informed me the gas tank is 160 gallons. and I gotta fill it up.
Bastard
