Whos ready to start out the year with a meet and maybe a cruise? Hooters or Buffalo wild wings maybe in peoria, bloomington, or wherever depending on where people are coming from.

Out of area people feel free to join also, maybe some STL or chicago guys?

Hey! Sweet! I'm just 40 minutes south of Peoria, I just need to get one of my buddies to drive the other Typhoon. I have at least five buds that drive Camaros and T/A's that would be fun to cruise with, just in case of truck shortage. Hey tell your friends in Pekin there is a Sy and a Ty for sale here in my town too. :tup:

I wouldnt mind having some camaros and TA's join. Our 73 Z is out again too. Only making 3psi last night I think due to a slipping belt but I would think my dad or brother might want to drive it and join. Anyone know of some Grand nationals that might want to come out? I know of one here in town I can call. I'm inviting 3 other sytys not on the board also once we figure out a time and place.

when i was 23 thats all i ever did , number one prority was work all night so its running in the morning. when you get older priorities change , my ty will always be there , my daughter wont, so as long as she's into hangin out with daddy , the ty will get what ever time is left after that. keep us posted on when your palnning the meet.

Whats days would evryone be available? I work every other Saturday and Im off on sundays. This saturday is the one im off so 3/10, 3/24, and 4/7 im off.

Is bloomington or peoria the closer location for everyone? Im in Pekin. Bloomington is 30-45 minutes and Peoria is 20-30 minutes.

I also posted up on the turbo buick forums and a local forum Im on. I think it would be cool to get a few more GM's involved. Its always fun to cruise in a big group.

Bloomington or Peoria is fine w/ me! But, Peoria has a better scene and faster speed limits. B-town is rough road central w/ red lights. just my :2cents:

Peoria hooters has a big back parking lot too that we could have. Big enough for a few awd doughnuts maybe? :lol:
How does Saturday March 24th or or Sunday the 25th sound? Anyone have a preference? Im thinking Saturday so there are more people out when we cruise but if some arent available then sunday would do just fine too.

I would love to get together. I should have the Sy done by then. I have several cars to choose from I might be able to talk a couple of friends into driving some other cars. The only problem for me is I have like 6 birthdays in my immediate family. One of my sisters birthdays is the 24th, and a cousin is getting married the next weekend in Iowa City. Also, while the weather is good now, you still never know in March. Just pick a time and date and I will try to be there.

Plan on meeting Saturday at Hooters between 5-7pm. That gives us 2 hours to eat, look at the trucks and meet everyone. After that we will take a cruise around town and some out of town. If the forcast calls for rain it may be changed to sunday. At least a few days notice will be given if that happens so just check on here friday. So far there is interest from a few GN guys, a couple mustangs, SRT4s, and Fbodys. Our 73 Camaro will be there also. A friend of mine might bring his C5 out. It should be primarily syty's and GN's though. I figure by others coming i gives us a chance to play around a little more and it lets these other guys see what these are because most have no clue.

Hoping to find a good spot for some group pics too during the cruise, the exact route isnt planned yet. Thinking maybe up main to university to war then north on the interstate out by the shoppes at grand praire to come back down to peoria on 29. Something like that would give us some in town to turn some heads, and some out of town to play on without getting tickets.

Afterwards I'll either keep cruising or go to the clubs downtown so if anyone wants to stay out later im ok with doing that too :tup:

Just bought a new computer, having it overnighted. Im doing my best to have my wideband hooked up and code 59 working on the truck. It probably wont run that great but it should at least run.
