Jack, Should I pack a fuel regulator for you? I don't necessarily want to do anything to the truck but I can follow directions pretty well...Jim

Hopefully someone can help me diagnose my idle and stalling issue. I also have a set of 60lb injectors and all the related parts to convert from the ultimate chip to code 59 but have never installed them. I have been sitting on them for a couple years. I was waiting to fix the stalling issue first.

Although if a code59 guru is available, I have a 3bar and the Moates stuff. Should be straight forward as I don't have many mods to engine...Jim

I'm pretty good with code59 so I can certainly help you guys out.

Guys its starting to get hot in the shop so you may want to bring fans & extension cords so that you can have some air movement where you are working..

I would like to request some time from Keith(or someone else REALLY good with code 59) to help me troubleshoot a stalling issue on decel.. My truck is not inspected so we can't drive it on the road but the problem is easily repeated simply be revving the engine and letting off of the gas quickly.

Is anyone from around me (you know who you are) going? If you have room, I would like to send some cladding up with you to hand off to sport machines.

Did you check your IAC? Should be 30... Mine did the same thing. The TB set screw was too tight. IAC was around 90 so it was compensating but couldn't open fast enough. HTH.

I did and I did have to adjust my idle screw on the TB(LS1 with Ramjet intake). It now settles down in the low 20s when the trucks warms up IIRC..

I also played with the throttle crack(follower) settings in the bin and I was able to improve but not eliminate the issue..

Just sent Jack a message to find out when he wants to leave. Maybe guys traveling west on 80 entering Pa can meet up? I'm good whenever, earlier the better...Jim

Gather up your wrenches and parts as wrenchfest is coming up fast.

Also, if anyone needs any parts and wants to save on parts, let us know so we can make sure to bring them along.

Thanks!

Can I bring my (small) dog? Are there other dogs around? (may or may not be good depending on their temperament)

Steve: no problem w/ the dog...no other dog will be in attendance I don't think. If it starts biting anyone's heels, we can just lock it in a room.

Does anyone need anything tig welded? If I don't have to lug my tig over I'm not going to bother.

Also, Matt has a tire changing machine and a wheel balancer....so if anyone needs to swap tires or rebalance wheels, we can do so!
