Ive looked at it from his point of view and all I can say is, if I had one, I woulda went for it. Just because you dont agree or that other Chelo guy doesnt mean Im wrong. What really kills me is how you try to "team up " with my wife. I have this whole incedent on film and if you look at it in the beginning, it looks he was trying for about 2 sec then let off. Ive tried to get this guy to go with me elsewhere once before but with no luck. So heres whats really killer, if Im some redneck in a pos 14 year old truck thats not worth the race, then why would this guy race a 20 year old pos regal? Yes, a friend of mine raced him in his GN and spanked him up to 120. Bottom line here is that the guy is a wus and knew I would make him look like an ass.

Obviously someone cares about what I do all day or he wouldnt have mentioned what he does all day implying that I nothing. Seriously though, I know some exotic car owners and what I've heard from them is this:
Why would I race an old SUV? If I win, I just beat an old SUV... what a waste of time. If I lose, I just got beat by an old SUV... how embarassing. And if it's even close at all, it still doesn't look good.

Are you telling me that if you had a Lamborghini Diablo (a car with a disposable clutch that costs a fortune), you'd race anything and everything that lined up against you?

Nah, my main issue is that when I told him I wanted to run him he acted like I had noting. He rolled off the first time with a couple Z06's, a Viper and a couple bikes. They all rolled around together but wouldnt race. I wasnt out racing anyway I was going to the store. But its mainly his lame attitude. When he says I dont have anything to prove to anybody, I hear, this is the greatest car in the whole world. And if I feel I have a chance to go head to head and actually make the greatest car in the world work its ass off to catch me, then I am certainly gonna gdo it.

I'm guessing that a guy that can afford a Diablo wouldn't have much of a problem affording the clutch work.



But touché on your other point. People with cars that expensive tend to be much more cautious and discerning regarding whom they race if they even race at all.

In the long run, maybe. Assuming the guy knew how to drive. Since this was on the streets, the race probably would've been over by the 1/8. So it is a good chance that the Ty would've came out on top. Hater
