Re: ScannerPro released

You can also add histograms.

For example you could have a histogram that would plot average AFR vs RPM and MAP

Once developed and tied back into tunerpro this will take things to a whole new level.

Re: ScannerPro released

So you saying we shouldn't tell them about the new board just released from Moates that adds more RAM to our ecm?

And the POSSIBLE future ability to do full emulation through a standard aldl cable on the fly?

Yea, delete this post.

No shit, that's exactly what I was thinking. I remember back in 2000 when I had my first one. Tuning consisted of "did you check your timing? Howza bout fuel pressure and plug gap? Awwwww just get an ultimate."

My how things have changed.

Re: ScannerPro released

Is scannerpro working with $59 ? I know I read somewhere that xdf's can be imported but has anyone tried it? Is it worth switching to? Opinions please...

Re: ScannerPro released

Yes it will work with $59. You can import the ADS file into ScannerPro and use it. I will make a $59 version that works once Mark has the bug with the save fixed on the beta.

ScannerPro is for logging and monitoring ALDL only. Mark said once he has this solid he will intergrate it into TunerPro. In my opinion, with what ScanenrPro can do, it will replace Datamaster once we have a good definition file set up. The definition file included is based off the one I did that is listed on NWSTP.com.

I am going to go back and add a bunch of Gauges, Graphs, Histograms, etc. so we have a good base definition file that hopefully will replace Datamaster and then some.

Re: ScannerPro released

Kinda off topic question but I seem not to be able to find an answer. I see everyone that post screen shots that has actual and desired afr but all I see in my software is target and thats what shows me the wb output. What do I need to change?

Most of those screen shots you see are from the guys working on the Code59 project.

I think if your table is labled "target" but shows your wide band reading then it just needs to be relabled as "actual". As for the "desired" part, that is displaying what we have chosen as the desired AFR in the new table in $59. I think there is a desired AFR in $58 too though, which will most likely show 14.7 most of the time except for when you hit AE,PE or DE, or on a cold start.

Code59 is a hoax. All promises are false. It's just a bunch of us making up teams and playing CounterStrike. Sorry to let the cat outta the bag guys, but we've fooled these guys long enough.

Yeah, and it's funny, there was a thread a while back about how there weren't many new "innovations" left to discover...

We have really not even scratched the surface.

Dig, since you're on the "forefront" of the innovations...care to elaborate?

I may have the perfect computer available for this real soon. I'll be installing one in my truck over the next month or so and testing it out just to be sure it will do the job. Ballpark price will be $500
