ordered a fuel sending unit from them ( had to have it shipped from canada) arrives its the wrong one, Their catalog says its correct for a 92 typhoon, its not, If i go to the website of the company that makes it their E catalog says its correct, but the companies paper catalog lists the correct one.

Rock auto said if I send it back i can get a refund of the purchase price but I have to ship it to canada

after shipping it back I would have about 15 dollars of the 54.00 I paid then she said i could sell it on craigs list to recover more money

You should have known what you exactly needed.

It says it fits I call BS if the part number I know is right isn't right.

Spark plugs, oil filters, and other bulk stuff. That is all i get from them. I learned my lesson with them before.

Your saying it's $39.00 to ship that item back to Canada? Not a chance. Put it in a regular box, not a USPS one. I have a package from Cali mailed to me about the same size was under $15.00.

Rockauto has gone downhill. I've learned to look at a manufacturer's website to confirm any part # that I buy online. They have figured out how to make more juice by jamming you with shipping...

it has to go back in their box,

34.00 for part
20.00 shipping top me

18.00 return shipping

34.00 refund-18.00

17.00 net amount returned

Re: screw rock auto shitty customer service

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from them for my TBSS. I saved a ton of money compared to other places. Ordered moog suspension parts and their price vs local retail place was 30-40% cheaper. Too bad you have to ship to canada, otherwise it wouldn't have been an issue, right?

I've ordered a ton of stuff from them lately and haven't had any issues with them. I like the prices compared to the local parts places and usually get the parts in 3 to 4 days.

Actually I do agree with you. You shouldn't have to pay if the catalog is wrong.

That blows, big time. Here's a option, not sure if it would work for you. Contact your credit card company and explain to then what's going on. I had a issue with a company in Texas with something I purchased and was getting p!$$ed off with them. My brother-in-law is a financial advisor for one of the banks and he told me to try that route. The bank refunded my purchase and then they had to deal with me, and I made it very unpleasant. I shipped it back express instead of regular post. Make them pay.
