That was good. If you look search around there are some posting of the truck when it was painted red. It looks better in red by the way.

wasnt there someone posting that he was going to try and buy it. He already was speaking to the owner...I think thats was the truck. Anyway yes red looked alot better.

I never saw it do the hill climb, but I was hoping to this year :(

I thought Ivanko bought this truck? or at least pieces off of it. BTW I went up Pikes peak a couple of weekends and if anyone wants to see the hill climb before they ruin it completely better go next year. There is a ton of new pavement up near devils playground and looks like they are getting ready to pave the entire road next year. They have most of the drainage dug and are setting up the overflow ponds currently.

Thats what I was wondering about. So their plan is to pave the entire road up to the top? If that happens, I guess that in turn kills this race.

Not necessarily, it just changes the race. There's "all pavement" hill climbs all over and in Europe. Still some pretty good action :tup:

It's now red. That's before it was painted. Adam Aurbach (sp?) "High Performance Trucks" on here bought the wheels and widebody fenders.

He was having the fenders reproduced in Reno, but I haven't seen any updates. Last that was posted, the Syclone was for sale for $100k... at least, that's what it said in the post.

I can't wait until Adam's road race Sy is finished with the widebody. That thing is going to be wicked cool :cool:

Shaun's Syclone is still for sale and he will accept reasonable offers. I bet anyone with an offer of $50K or better can own the truck.

The engine needs to be checked out. Possibly a head gasket. I heard it run and didn't hear any bad metallic sounds. No metallic stuff floating around in the pan.

The truck was run in 2002 all black with the radiator up front. 2003 truck was repainted red with the radiator moved to the "bed".

My fenders are ready to go to Brian if he's inclined to make molds from them.

Actually, there was a post on it several months ago. At that time, it was currently at RPM being worked on. Someone snagged a pic of it sitting in the shop with all sorts of stuff in the bed, on it, etc. Mike mentioned it in the thread belonging to Shaun. I'm assuming no one has said anything because until now, it wasn't done. :tup:
