Tonight I was going to install my lower intake back on the truck, emphasis on the word "was"!!! Well anyways I drag all my tools home from work, get everything laid out on the bench and realize that I left the gaskets and silicone at work  So I take the 40 min round trip drive back to work (over $3 a gallon, twice in one day    ) and get it. I get home and open the silicone tube and it is hard as a rock from being open, poke hole in bottom of tube and use the last of it that way. Grab the gaskets and put them on, grab the intake and put it on, proceed to torque all the bolts down. Go to install the dist. and something isn't right it wont sit down all the way and it isn't making a metal/metal sound, almost softer WTF. So I manage to get my head over the hole for the dist. and shine a light down it and guess what is looking back up at me with a big F U???
The god damned rags that were catching all the old gasket when I was cleaning the heads up   SOB!!!!!
Make me feel better and tell me some of your dumbest moves!!!
