its the same truck you posted about in this thread? http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=101124
or you just fart in as many marlboro trucks as you can?:rotf:

Yes, that's the same truck. It used to belong to Lou. I have sat in 3 or 4 Marlboro's and have tried to fart in each of them. As for # 1, it was easy to fart in it since we were driving from L.A. to Vegas and I was the primary driver for the trip. I was invited by Eric formerly of KW to attend the truck show on Fremont Street in Old Town Vegas. I asked Lou if he wanted to go and he offered to take the Marlboro. I jumped at the chance. The coolest memory that I have of the trip was driving down Las Vegas Blvd. with the removable top off of the truck.

Any Marlboro's or rare trucks coming??

Little bird I have on the east coast connected to the west coast told me that there will be something of interest going....and yes, it's rare.

Wish I was in cali....this is a goto event.

I'll be bringing all the SoCal decals I have, another batch has been made and I should have them for the meet.

Yup, now under 3 days or less than 72 hours.

More than ready for a pastrami sandwich, who wants to split fries or onion rings?

Any Marlboro's or rare trucks coming??

As far as I know, no Marlboro's are scheduled to attend.

Little bird I have on the east coast connected to the west coast told me that there will be something of interest going....and yes, it's rare

Yes, something rarer than a Marlboro is scheduled to attend.

Just need to wake up the Syclone after it's multi year nap, and I'm ready to go.

Would it happen to be white/argent cladding? The first truck listed in your Sig?

It's gonna be like Christmas morning

Mmmm. 24 hours to a pastrami sandwich. Yes, I'll share a bag of onion rings.

Not sure what I'm going to drive. It may be RWD with a 7-speed manual transmission. Nothing special to anyone but me, and after 30 years of ownership I'm contemplating selling it this summer. I may drive it just because I can, and might as well put some miles on it before it goes.

Awesome sy113, I'll buy two of the red stickers off you.

Dave, I'll ring you around lunch maybe we can grab something light since we're gonna have pastrami for dinner. ;)

Paul, I got a box of stuff I found for the Blk/Gry including the original blank for the over-head clock lens. You might not want some things (like the original rear shock pump) but I'll bring the box so you can see.

See you guys tomorrow!

Re: SoCalSyTy Meet March 28th, The Hat, Brea

okay so I thought it had been a while since I had last checked the site and upon further inspection I come to find I am wrong, there has only been a little over 77 thousand new posts since my last login, that's not long at all being that I know this forum is oh so incredibly active considering the fact there are a whopping what 9000 trucks of which maybe half are still on the street divided by the number of actual owners and then furthermore divide that by the amount of owners who have actually made it here... if my math is correct that leaves about, what, 500 active members currently? I have total faith that you 500 can and have pumped out 77k posts in a little over a moth, nice guys! Okay fine its been probably at least 3-5 years and my math is mostly bullshit..
BUT HEY!!!!! As a group of wise once young and now older gentlemen said to another on the night of March 28th 2015, "we thought it more likely for us to have seen a unicorn than to have you show up and make an appearance at a SyTy meet" well, to those men I say.. "I apologize, no unicorn, it was just me"
The nostalgia, that was incredible, the turnout wasn't half bad, yes of course there have been better in years past but there has also been far worse, I am genuinely impressed boys!
My absence was, if you know me, somewhat predictable but my reappearance, doubtful anyone saw that coming, was really good to see you guys, old faces and new, I will make sure to get the Frisbee aka shady back on the road for a guest appearance at, and im being hopeful when I say this not factual, at the next gathering, thanks for being so welcoming as always, much love
shout out to Scott and Dave, missed you guys that's for damn sure, Steve, damn dude that was really cool catching up, Paul.. I still think u glued my locks but I don't care (im kidding and had totally forgotten about that hahah) truck is perdy im proud man, Andre and Alex, my brothers u already know, welcome Keith and Mario and the guy in the hat.. fack I forget your names but all of you guys im glad you were all there and I was able to meet you, I will make sure to not become a ghost, hope everyone got home safe, see you soon and thank you!
