Good turn out I think. Glad to see you guys and meet some of you for the first time. Had a good time, ended up staying there way longer than i was intending, but I'm okay with that.

Taylor, you know what you need to do, make it happen.

Thank you Scott. It was a good turnout. The Hat really hit the spot.

Good meet. I hope TMNT dad is doing well and my former Ty stops urinating trans fluid...but other than that I'd say it was awesome seeing everybody. I will try to bring my black/black next meet. Here's some pics :

that white/g or repaint sy 1992!?

Technically, yes Scott's Sy is a "repaint" to wht/gry. Did you read this thread? There were several hints that "something special" and "rarer than a Marlboro" (there were only 10 of those) was attending. And a pic of a glovebox door with "Don the Snake" Prudhome's signature on it too.

Scroll down this page a ways and find "1992 pilots".
Two built.
Trucks used in the Syclone Challenge with Don 'The Snake' Prudhomme
Original color was black, repainted aspen white with gray
Modified S-10's with Syclone internals

Thanks for bringing it out Scott.

Thanks to all the guys that made the trip, with and without trucks. Sorry I had to leave as soon as I got there for an hour, but that's what friends do for friends. Help 'em out without reservation. Good to see ya'll. We'll have to try to do another one of these soon.

BIG Thanks to Scott for taking the initiative to put this together. 9 SyTy's, including a Challenge Truck. Not too shabby for a "local" meet.

Great seeing everyone last night and meeting some of the originals that i have not meet before.

Paul nice to have meet you in person as to have been following your build to your SY. Glad the TY made the trip and wasnt anything major preventing you from having pastrami last night. TY still looked awesome even tho it had a bit of oil on the tail gate. If it helps it actually made it look shinier at night.

Adam, nice to have meet you too. Have not seen you TY yet but from what i hear its way faster than you Tahoe last night.

Joe & Damian, those magnesium wheels look awesome you your SY & TY. Makes me wish i had pulled the trigger on a set.

Dave, all i got to say is your the man but you prob already know that, lol.

To everyone else that came, some like me showed up without there truck, great seeing everyone and the pastrami is really as good as you guys said. The chili wasn't that bad either. Sorry i could not add to the line up with my TY, but overall it was a great turn out.

FYI, my TY is down for upgrades and will make the next meet with her.

Re: SoCalSyTy Meet March 28th, The Hat, Brea

I hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves. At least the weather cooperated. Only hitch was Paul having a sick baby and his Typhoon puking out transmission fluid, and Dave having to go rescue him. Hopefully most people who had a broken truck will be able to attend the next time with theirs.

Definitely was nice seeing some old time members again, and meeting the newer members. At least now I can put a face to a screen name.

Numerous inquires were made as to when we will be doing this again. Need to get a consensus for what day, either Saturday or Sunday, and what time works best for most people. Location(s) will also need to be discussed.
