Hey Marty,

Thanks for the help yesterday. This server died again, so I wasn't trying to cut you off.

The deal sounds good to me and I'll take yours. I'll get in contact w/ you around the 1st of the month on payment.

Thanks again,

Robert

Quick Update - Looks like we are going to try to cut the existing firewall off in one piece so i can sell it to someone that may want to go down this road. Any takers.

how much and most likely

I've got $3000.00 into it plus i have to pay him another 3 Hours to support the cab and cut it off.

So make me a fair offer and it's yours. Shipping shouldn't be a major problem as i can have a custom box made to ship it.

call me 630.234.2488 - trust me the price will be very fair. i just want to see it get used

01-14-06 Update - Making room for the new Firewall and Wheel Wells

Well, worked on the truck a little this weekend with a good Friend Paul.
Paul came along to help with the future firewall modifications. Should be very interesting couple weeks.

You really can't tell from this picture but we raised the motor up at least an 1.5"

Which meant the floor got it the way - more will cut out later

This is how far back the firewall is going to be once we cut it and make it flat

Have you thought about hugger fenders on the spindles that move with the front tires? It would eliminate the need for inner fenders alltogether. There are plenty of 300 series and bigger fenders out there for custom bikes that could be made to fit.

I actually would like the fenders to part of the artwork of the engine bay. When people look under the hood i want them to just keep looking and saying wow that is cool for hours and when they see it a second time i want them to see something that they didn't see the first time.

Couple of questions....

Who made the headers for you??

Are you using 18 degree heads??

If so, who did the intake and is it off the shelf item available to buy??

Thanks for your time.

Couple of questions....

Hi Brad

Who made the headers for you??

The origin of the headers is from Mile Lee at RPM, Everything after the collector Dave at Comp Fab made to work in our application

Are you using 18 degree heads??

Nope - they are a set of 23 degree pontiac Heads

If so, who did the intake and is it off the shelf item available to buy??

Mike at RPM had Hogan make the intake for me it was around $3000.00 with the Throttle Body and rails. It only took about two weeks for them to make it for us.

if you want to talk - give me a call 630.234.2488

I have been watching this for a while and of course I am blown away at the time and effort you have put into this project but I have a question, Are you gonna total up your receipts when you are finished or are you afraid to know what you've spent?:rotf:
