Dave made a couple mock up pieces for the center section of the firewall last week.
He wanted to make sure it was exactly what i wanted before he went any further on the Firewall. Seems he was afraid of a fourth Firerwall.

Here you can see the two mock up pieces so we could decide which we liked better. We choose to go with the 1 1/8" deep version.

Here is what it took to make the part from beginning to end. (30 minutes total)

Strange my wife is getting a similar message. You can also try my syborgtwinturbo@aol.com e-mail.

Not a problem i completly understand stretching the funds. Try shooting me another e-mail as i may have found you another set of rockers that are used in excellent conditions.

03-05-06 Update (Firewall is complete)

Well it's finally done and i think this is the final one. The good news is Dave said i could have a discount on the next firewall if i wanted to make a 4th attempt. But i think this is the last one. We may do some final tweaking with a billet panel.

Dave made a releaf for the downpipe

Since the wiper cowl drains water out of the rockers, We had to make sure that now water would get into the cab. So there are actually two firewalls.

Okay since we both know that i can't afford Charlie although he's a really nice guy and i had a good time talking with him. It looks like it's down to Scott or Rad Rides. If Scott goes to work for Charlie and the timing works out for him well then it's Scott.
