They are good looking seats? but why not go with an a leather seat similar to the Marlboro?

trust me the Marlboro seats - sucked.

they were very uncomfortable and to wide for the cab.

They look pretty good, but would be better without the seatbelt holes at the top. What is the rest of the interior going to be? Stock looking door panels and carpet? Stock center console? I think that would matter when asking for an opinion on seats.

The interior will have a OEM feel.

The stock center consule will be modified to include a trans temp guage.

Carpet - will be glued to the floor ( not going to be stock style )

Door Panels - lol that's a tough one.

I agree - these are really nice seats.

Red no longer work on this project since the truck doesn't have red on it. It's more copper or burnt orange.

Good Afternoon All,

I bought a set of seat on Ebay.
The goal was to see how they would look in the truck.

So Opinions are welcome.
Yes, they are different heights - we just bought them for the frames.

ACK! It's been so long since I've been here, but Marty you have to tell me what brand those seats are! Something like that would be perfect in my GT

Like someone said earlier, it would probably look better and more stock-ish if those seatbelt holes weren't there. Unless you're using a 4/5 point harness I'd fill them in and get it reupholstered. I'm sure you were already going to get them reupholstered anyways  :rotf:

Yep, were converting to 4 point harness restraints. Since the upper seat belt bolt is covered up by the roll cage.

Good Morning All,

As everyone know's i'm a big fan of Bell Tech.
I've used there stuff on all of my truck builds and it's worked out great each and every time.

Previously installed on the truck was there Sway Bar.

When Precision Brakes built my front Brake Kit they used a generic Spindle.
The intention has always been to install Bell Tech Drop Spindles.

This is where I normally would insert a picture of the actual spindle they shipped me.
However, we all know Kenny's not good with the Camera so the guy's at Bell Tech sent me a nice image.

I really happy to working with another great company and I look forward to working with them on future projects.

ps - don't worry I have 4 more posts sitting in the que

We plan to debut the truck at Sema then hit the a few World of Wheels shows and finally finish up on the power tour in 09.

Roadster Show in California - man i would love to be invited to that show - that is an awesome show.

actually I'm going to start looking for a manual winch. I figured I would at least try to get a work out pulling it into the trailer.

Good Morning All,

Yet, another modification that is so simple and may never be noticed.

From the Factory the body line on the "A" pillar was going in the wrong direction.

2006_03_03_031.jpg

It actually touched the corner of the fender and was about 3/4" up near the door.

After a little metal work it looks stock.

It's all the little details that make the difference.
