the LS2 has arrived, now I just need to order the oil pan and motor mounts today so I can start the install.

Just wanted to say you are doing a fabulous job with this. I know all to well the pains associated with conversions. I hate wiring gremlins :).

Looks sweet. Are you going to have trouble with the cross bar being so low for the cage? I thought that needs to run between your elbow and hip. I may not be right on that though.

Are you asking if the cage is NHRA legal, if so the answer is no. This is not going to be a fastest syclone project. It's going to be a driver (much more street than strip). I actually started modding the a/c box last night so the head and valve cover will have enough clearance. Lee

The black material is the same abs that I make the top grille insert from. The cutout was done with a dremel tool. The syclone insert was the easiest. Who can guess what it is?
