but, they're not going to do it, so no one should get their hopes up.
we've been there, done that before with gmp and others.
"tooling costs are too high for such a limited-sales model.
we're sorry."
simple economics at work here - even if evry board member ever bought one, they'd still not do it.

Yup, I make aluminum tooling for the thermoforming industry and it is VERY pricey. I would be down for a syclone IF it materializes but, it won't. On behalf of the community, thanks for trying  !

Well, I see that there have been attempts at this before, and I can't guarentee anything, but I am in touch with the owners of several of the collectable sites that I shop with, and I'm going to keep pushing until *something* gives ;)

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to respond to this thread. It's important for me to have something to point to and say "See? This is how many you'll sell RIGHT OFF THE BAT" :)

i would be in for 2 or 3 TY's, however, i think I would be much more interested in a plastic model. Im not sure which company made it but there was a Syclone plastic model produced once upon a time. I know cause Ive seen one. Never seen one on the shelves though. I think die casts are cool and all but nothing beats building it with your own hands. Its like working on your own truck but much easier and you can make it how you want it. Diecast is hard to "play" with. But count me in if you can do it. Maybe I'll write to Revell or Tamiya for a plastic model . Hell if they'll produce a 94 regular S10 cant imagine why they couldnt make a SY TY.

Well, they did make a Syclone 'plastic' model that you put together. Revell and Lindberg each made one. You can pick them up now on Ebay, as I see that a few are available.

I bought my Revell one a few years back for around $10 including S&H. Owner actually had a syclone and told me that if I didn't have one, I should "get one" ;)... The Revell is 1:25 scale and the Lindberg is slightly bigger at 1:20. Haven't seen a Lindberg in person but, the Revell is decent quality. Thought that it was odd that the license plate stickers were FL ones when everyone knows the syclone was "born" in LA.

id take on of each. actually a couple Tys. just so i could paint one white and one black for the 2 most common colors :D

just a 6

R.I.P MyClone
I have both in boxes not built yet, myself like the Revell better b/c the cladding is loose on that. Lindberg have the cladding attached to the body. It was something else i liked better with the Revell, but can't remember it now :-?

I bought a Lindberg and a Revell from EBAY and there is a huuuge difference in size. Sitting next to each other the Lindberg looks like a full size truck. Cant wait to dig in.
