I wanted to throw a quick post on here to announce that we've launched sytyevents.com! While I'm not 100% through coding it (doubt I ever will be), it is ready for public consumption.

The goal of this site is to be a central hub for events, meets, wrench sessions, etc... in the SyTy community and abroad (general hot rod community). If you're looking for an event to attend, we'll have them listed by the month, by the category (syty, buick gn, lightning, etc...), and by the state/region (coming soon). Event submission is public and once approved, will show up on the event calendar and (if needed) as an event available for registration. We'll also have a public gallery where you can submit pics of your ride in a general Member Rides gallery or for an event (e.g. You're attending Carlisle and submit a pic of the truck you're bringing and the committee is so impressed that you're invited to park in the indoor display area).

So, in a nutshell, this is a central location where you can locate events, submit events (if you're planning one), and register for events (if you're attending one). This has actually been a long time coming, so I'm pretty glad I've got a working site finally.

Are monthly meets worthy of posting on the site, or are you trying to reserve it for bigger events?

IMO, anything is worth listing. Even if it's a gathering of just two SyTyers to grab coffee or turn some wrenches. If it's a meet that is regular (e.g. first Saturday of every month), then I can make it a recurring event automatically. If the dates are precarious (e.g. every memorial weekend), then we'll need to submit it manually to avoid any misrepresentation of dates.

But, to answer your question....YES, monthly meets are worth posting.
