ALBERTAN said:Fu(& off Easterbunny. You were a troll when you were here nine months ago, and apparently some things never change. 5100 lbs eh? BS. You gut every possible piece outta your Lightning every trip to the track...last I hear to run low 13s.
Your engine is out hmmm. Don't forget to put the oil pan drain plug back in. Last year Easterbunny tried to do a minor mod on his tranny and forgot to put fluid back into it and fried his tranny. Then he went to NLOC and asked everyone how he could trick Ford into warrantying it. I think he wound up taking it to AAMCO.
Then there is his legendary post on the NLOC forums asking whether the Eaton spins all the time or only under boost.Good job buddy. Please let us know when you will be out cruising so we can get the Hell off the road.
Back again in another few months.![]()
My truck weighed in at 5200 lbs at Bristol. It had a defective torque converter which went bad.
My last track visit was up here in Clarksville at full weight which is approx. 5100 lbs. Why Lighter than 5200 lbs. Because the only difference between what I ran in Bristol and what I ran here was the following: I removed the topper and installed the fiberglass bedcover in its place also ran with the stock torque converter which is about 20lbs heavier than the stock one.
My tranny ran a couple of quarts low at one point last year.
I decided to get a built tranny while the engine was out last year, the old one was okay with some slightly burnt clutches I never have destroyed a transmission.
I check this board out at least once weekly. If you don't people looking then close it up.
