I am in the process of building a new motor. I am putting this one together with some goodies on it that are really going to change the way my engine looks period. Well, its going to be costing me right around 3k for the build an all nice stuff and I got to thinking that I really should make the rest of the engine bay match. So my thoughts are that I am going to be re-wiring a bunch of things and making some new brackets and kid of "finalize" my engine bay if you will. So as I was taking things apart this afternoon I realized what a hacked up mess my core support is and that I really don't like it. Now I know I need it but I thought about maybe building one out of tube steel or something like that. Kind of simplify the whole thing and make certain things more accessible you know? Can any one think of any reasons why this might be a bad idea?
