I meant the exhaust manifold , kinda like the blanket wrap on the pic of the BIG motor .

But the dp cover looks like it would fit down to where the dp hooks under the cab . At least the top section anyway . How much to buy that prototype ?

The Downpipe come within ~inch of the passenger side exhaust manifold, so both of those would be difficult for fitting.

something like this would be best for exhaust manifolds (b/c it is soo tight fitting), but i'm guessing it would be close to $1000 to do both sides.

Well, I went ahead and made my own turbo blanket...not the prettiest thing, but it's on there very tight and snug....used a turbo kit from thermotec ....cost around $100.00 for the kit and took the majority of last night to complete....should help with the burnt plug and starter wires...not to mention the underhood heat...there's a layer of the DP wrap material under the shiny foil type material....check it out....

Looks like it should help a lot, now the only thing left is the manifolds...

BTW your pcv system isnt going to work as designed with one of the valves missing (looks like you replaced it with a breather there). If so you might as well just replace the whole deal with a breather on that valve cover.

I might just do the crossover and stop there....manifolds would be a definite pain....I'm still itching all over (two days later) from the fiberglass that got all over me  ....

My plan was to run the other pcv hose (the one that goes where I stuck the breather) to my CAI....I'm not that sharp on pcv systems....I need to read up on that again....man, you don't miss a thing....I'm going to send you a few underhood photos if I ever finish so you could tell me what I missed :D ....did you notice the stock injectors? they're just in there to keep the dust out....my new ones are packaged in a box...
