Since the Ty is in storage, over the winter I plan on doing alot of mods to my truck. I just finished installing RPM's Solid Motor Mounts. Overall, it wasn't as bad as I expected. With the help of my dad, we accomplished the install in 1 week. We worked on it for about 2 hours each day to keep our sanity. I have yet to start it up, since I'm waiting on another mod. BTW, both of my stock motor mounts were broke. Stay tuned, this is just the beginning. :tup:

I finally installed my 3" JSM Downpipe. I had the pipe Ceramic Coated to match the engine bay and for durability and heat reduction. I cut out the Wastegate Puck and bridge for boost control, which was the main reason I bought the pipe because I had a Overboost problem. While I had the turbo out, I ported the wastegate passage a little more than I did last year for even more boost control.

I bought the Pipe from Foot Performance with the Gasket that he had custom made just to be on the safe side. He bought 2 of these pipes from JSM and this was a Brand New Stainless that I bought from him. I also drilled and tapped the 4th hole. This is a Awesome pipe. The craftsmanship in this pipe is pure talent. Sound clip will be added soon of Open DP!

Here is a Sound Clip of Open DP. It sounds so sinister! I plan on running a Cat Delete pipe and ATR Muffler.

Just took it for a test drive. I couldn't tell a difference in vibration with the Solid Motor Mounts. It pulls so hard like never before. With the help of the 3" JSM DP, it spools up super fast. In the spring I will hook up the Datamaster to see if the Solid Motor Mounts fixed my Knock issue and also to see if my Overboost is cured with the JSM DP.

It goes to show that, you shouldn't always believe what you read. So far with the mods that I have done, Taking the Turbo off, DP, Solid MM, Complete front end rebuild, that it was all pretty easy as long as you do research and take your time. The Solid Motor Mounts weren't as bad as most people claimed to be. I don't know what vibration most people are experiencing, but I didn't notice any.

Installed my NWSTP style IC scoop. Thanks to Joe (ty166) for the 2 sheets of aluminum, my dad cut and bent it at work for me. Joe, I'll have yours done by the time I see you next time.

Also installed my Polished overflow tank to help make things a little neater, and a Billet Specialties Radiator Cap just to dress things up a little bit.

It's about 6.5" off the ground.

I've been wanting to install LEDs in my Gauge Cluster for a long time being that I had a couple bulbs blown. While I was in there, I replaced the 8 Gauge bulbs with 15-LEDs and the Check engines with a single LED bulb. I chose the 15-LED bulb because alot of people complain that LEDs arent that bright, so I wanted to make sure it was plenty bright. It looks great without any hot spots. I also replaced the 2 HVAC bulbs with a single LED to match.

Have you got a kit list/part numbers/tips on this? My HVAC doesn't even light up! Wow! Really impressed with this mod. Well done!!

Here is a list of where I got the bulbs and which ones to get.

- (8) 194 based 15-LED bulbs for Gauges (Recommend to get 10, just incase you break a bulb or something). I got them on Ebay.

- (7) T1.5-W bulbs for the Check Engines Got them from superbrightleds

Tips: If I would do it again, I would get new sockets for the Gauges because the stock bulb/socket are a 1-piece design, so you basically have to break the bulb to get it out. They sell the twist-lock sockets at Autozone. Be sure to check each bulb before you fully install the cluster, because the bulbs are polarized. Also the Dimmer switch still works.

Hope this helps, this is a great alternative instead of Indiglo gauges.

Installed my Grant #1470 Club Sport Steering Wheel w/ GMC Horn button. Even though my stock Typhoon wheel was in perfect condition, I wanted a more updated look compared to the stock bus driver wheel. The Grant wheel is also quite abit smaller and also lighter than stock.
