Finished the rear wilwoods except put the new TA cover on and fill the rear-end and bleed the brakes. Too plain tired after 2 days of morning to night wrenching.

Fronts came out perfect so far. Drove it around a little before starting the rears and they seemed great.

After a good bleed tomorrow I'Il finally see what its like to go from one piston to 6 and go from a heavy 10" to a light 13" rotor. And from drums to 4 piston calipers.

Gonna light up a Cuban Romeo and Julieta limited and plan to finish it all tomorrow.

I think if these trucks werent so much work we'd sell them for something was a lot of work.

Well i did the steering shaft replacement, put my bumper cover and grill back on and aligned it, after putting clear corners and markers and black letters in, and then removed all my wiper stuff and finished cutting my lower intercooler bracket for the dutchty one.

Got my insurance reinstated Friday and drove it all weekend long !

Had a close call with the local PD last night when I went out to eat. A cop always sits out in front of the theater that is at the end of this particular strip mall. Despite being about a quarter mile away when I pulled in the parking lot, he must have heard my exhaust because he drove down to investigate as I was getting out of my truck. About an hour and a half later when I went to leave, he saw me walking out to the truck and he drove down by me and parked about 100 feet away waiting for me to start it up and probably write me a ticket for my loud exhaust... Too bad I flipped the switch on my 3" cutout and with a full exhaust including muffler, the truck runs dead silent .

Swapped rag-joint crap for solid shaft. Wow, what a difference. Now I just need a ZQ8 box, and more time. Much better.

Looked at it for about 5 minutes thought about washing it and shining up the rims and tires, then realized it was going to rain for the next two days so I said screw it because its my daily right now, until I find a new caddy to replace my 03.

Took it out of storage last Sunday, went to get an inspection sticker and realized I needed to put the horn back in that I took out to mount the meth pump. Put the horn in, got a sticker, and the next morning a truck kicked up a rock and broke my windshield. Alternator started overcharging on the way home, blew a rear speaker, and noticed that I had blistered all four tires when some a-hole wrecked in front of me and I had to lock them up on wet pavement last year before I put it away. Only 1500 miles on the tires! They don't thump like a flat spot but it still sucks big time. Not starting out the summer on a good note!

Gave the frame some love.

Went from this:

To this:

Using the same "self healing" waxy stuff that was on the frame from the factory:

Looks lots better:

Also did some under the front bumper:

Jim (95xtreme) will now mock me for polishing/waxing the factory shocks.

Did some tab/notched hole repair on the front cladding as well... more on that later.

Changed the oil, installed my hood strut kit, replaced my ignition cylinder, replaced my cracked seat belt receivers and gave it a wash job ;)

Looks good, but yes I will mock you but only a little

But that frame paint looks good, I need to get some for the rusty rebuild.
