Why would you take the time to paint the vehicle and make it look great, but then bend and scratch the paint to make the part fit? I enjoy your pics of your truck, but this mod could have been done differently without damaging the truck

it's just an s10 cowl. but you aren't able to use wipers now?

Drove the Sy in and out of the garage, adjusted the TV cable on the Ty and took out the spare tire to stop some of the damn squeaking.

replaced all the Jclips on the front end and bought new hardware for attaching front sheetmetal

tinted the grille marker lights & bumper lights with VHT nightshades on the SoGt grille since it's all rainy, debating on doing the fog lights & tails for now .... until I do the caddy tails :myclone:

Changed the fuel filter, installed the propshaft, laughed at the vacuum system and attempted to refill the AC system with Freeze12 which the bitch aint taking on the Ty today. POS 92s. I managed to assemble a vac kit today from left over material and canibalizing a half made blue kit for check valves. I just barely had enough leftovers...it'll go on tomorrow

pulled the core support so I can powerwash it and wax it then reinstall it, christ I need a different hobby

I drove the sy today a total of 103 miles. I also went to a friends house to help him pull the trans of of his 93 ty. I had to jump start it with my sy and the sy didn't like it:( MY sy actually choked off when he attempted to start his ty. but his truck managed to start. So did mine after that.

Just shows how important that proper voltage in our systems to maintain a proper running truck. Man, these things are picky. Everything has to be perfect. There is no forgiveness in any of our systems.

Started the Ty for the first time in eight years and let it idle for about 20 minutes. Boy was that nice. And it sure sounded great even with a very rich base tune. Truck has: used but refreshed forged engine, Brodix heads, KB headers, 70 turbo, innovative wg and boost controller, FAST speedpro with wide band, atr double pumper, atr cat back, tial bov, rpm a2a with modified piping to fit, rpm dp modified to fit, rpm braided trans lines, ac delete, cruise delete, abs delete, radio delete, etc.

How did you get KB headers on Brodix heads? I thought you had to get custom headers built?! ^^^

Congrats on getting the truck started, I thought getting mine running after 19 months was a rush :) ---

Bought the KB headers, the engine (which included the Brodix heads), the FAST speedpro and most of rest of the new parts over seven years ago. Do not know if KB makes them anymore. At that time they were the only manifolds that would fit my heads.

And yes, when it actually ran I was thrilled.. High fived my brother.. Broke out the blue moon out of the frig. Then back to reality and I grabbed the fire extinguisher just in case. Fortunately did not need it.
