Did a little more tuning on the black one. The cruise tune is about right. It accelerates really well also.
Finally had a chance to work on the blue Ty. It has been leaking trans fluid. I got that taken care of. Also the gear indicator in the console did not line up correctly with the gear the transmission was in. I was able to get that straightened out too.
I am hoping to drive the blue one around a little now. Haven't put many miles on it since I bought it.

Installed (with GAShan 's help) an HKS SSQV BOV. Broke 2 heads off of his C clip tool (sorry G). Now it whistle and scares people. I LOVE IT!!!

What some people call the lower CAC scoop that some of the members make and offer for sale.... I'll post a pic.
Just to be all manly, I would think the metal ones are the true 'blades of death', and that the ones made out of the plastic bins should maybe be called the 'plastic play-knife thingys of death'?? :dunno:

I got the pipe from RPM (Race Proven Motors) http://www.sytyperformance.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=65&category_id=209&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26 . The pipe ($85.00) is made of aircraft grade aluminum, which is great because the HKS SSQV BOV ($100.00) I bought came with an aluminum flange. I took the flange and the pipe to a local welder and had him cut the hole in the pipe and weld the flange in place ($30.00). I will post the pictures as soon as I can.

Started her for the first time since 2004, then learned why I should have bought an inductive timing light after the coil jumped through me twice.
Odds and ends left to do, but nearing the end. Thanks to John Waller, Mike Lee, "Meanface" Hood, and many of the members of this board for ideas, pics and other stuff.
