Went to check it out at the shop. It's totally stripped, windows out, door panels, handles, locks, looking ready for paint  The fenders are already etched and the body mount doesnt need replacement which is all good news. The guys at the shop love the truck and they are hooking me up with rubberized undercoating and huge overall discount. They just wanted to make sure that i was keeping the truck and not selling it any time soon. I told them i was already 18-20k into it and no way would i be paying for this just to sell it. HA

Pics to come soon

Those are the same rotors I bought. How do you like them? I think they look great and so far I can't complain about stopping power.

Mine are still squeaking with slight application of the brakes.....thought ceramic brakes didn't do that.
Only have 80 miles on them.
Other than that they look and stop great.

Made sure it was tucked in because we're supposed to get 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow  man I'm sick of this weather - our last snow is typically around first week of April, but this winter just keeps dragging on and on and on....

Major work is done on the body. There are 2 coats of high build primer on today. Tomorrow it will be block sanded, then another layer of primer and block sanding again.

In 98 degrees, I went for the emissions check.
Idle was a little rough.
Still passed with flying colors even, better than last year.

Changed torsion bar mounts. Passenger side was really pain in the ass. Swap could easily done in half an hour, but because of the right side it took 2 hours. Man I am glad I bought Moog K6485(a drop-down bolt) mounts. Now steering is much less sloppy, still have to replace steering shaft to Jeep one.

Bolted in my freshly rebuilt Waller turbo and replaced my plugs with UR5's and Taylor wires. Found a nice greasy unused UR5 when I pulled the driver fender and a hammered Bosh Platinum plug in cylinder #4. Haven't fired her up yet but cant wait!

Pulled motor and found bad rear thrust. (SInce thrust is only on the rear is "rear thrust" redundant?:rotf:)

Drove it home from Indiana last night without incident. Transmission is shifting a little too quick, but otherwise things seem good. ;)
