looks like satin

Ding. Automotive black satin I believe is the official name. I'm happy with how they turned out. The driver side one is brand new old stock. It was all scratched up from sitting for years and shipping. Now it actually looks "new".

drove it in to work and having serious thoughts of selling. why did my c10 have to blow a motor? i guess i'd never be interested in selling if i had a syclone. the ty is just to nice to be stuffing a greasy big block back there.

Went and picked up my freshly powder coated wheel house panels, along with some brackets and my IC scoop that I bought over a year ago:roll:. I ordered all new hardware for the re-installs which also arrived. I'll have a new truck, bolt by bolt,:squint: if it kills me. I am officially addicted to powder coating....

Wow, those came out really good. What company did you go with? I've been looking at a few local places to do some powder work. I've heard really good things about Pro-Tek in Joliet, CMwerks in Burr Ridge, and LoKo in Oak Lawn. If you don't mind me asking, were they reasonable?

Complete Powder Coating of Crest Hill (CPC). He does fantastic work. Pretty reasonable and worth every :2cents:. Here is the web page:

This is my 3rd round of parts I have brought over to him. I have a ton of before/after pics if you want to see some of the work. He did my intake and upper and they turned out perfect.

Let me know if you want to go over there, I will call him ahead of time...

Played around with it a bit...got a little more tuning done on it. Getting ready for this weekend with Jeff Scott and the Bowler Transmission event.

Here is a little 6# launch on the street...enjoy!

Yes I know I have a bulb out on the drivers' side...will get to that tomorrow!!

welll, today I just wanted to change the stock injectors with the 50# ones that I got. took off the driver three, two of them had the plastic piece fall off into the engine.. Then I took off the intake to get at it.. Finaly got them out and i figured, I went this far mid as well take off the valve covers and have my dad throw them in the cleaner at work to get them nice and clean..

long story short, took almost the whole top end of the truck engine off.. if I'm right...

tomorow puting it all back together and hopefully gonna start it up.. with the new injectors in it..

Polished the valve covers and fuel rails, and started working on polishing the stainless steel braided lines. Which reminds me how much I hate braided lines...

Also bought the new subs and amp to redo the speaker setup. 1000 watts of bass
