Well we are in the process of getting TYMOM, S TYPHOON WRAPPED. Last weekend we removed the cladding it Will be all pink/pink.Color is pink satin BUBBLEGUM. Tyson is doing it and he is comming here on Monday we cant wait should be sweet :tup:
Pushed the truck really hard tonight on the way home. It was pretty crazy. Like the truck had a dual stage turbo and hit another power band. The turbo all the sudden got real loud spooling and than I Heard a very loud BOOM. Was like great WTF. What you get for pushing it like that. Was thinking of what it could be. Only blew the intercooler coupler off at 15 or 16 pounds of boost. :rotf:
Removed heads from engine make room for vortec heads Steve Morris cam. Also installed my new dash wow that sucked. My old one was all cracked up. Also fuel tank is out for a e85 340 and T case out for a rebuild. All winter projects going for 11s next year.
Changed the coolant temp sensor (piece of cake) and driver door inner handle return spring (what a pain in the butt). Found out the root causes for inoperative rear defog: rusty rear window pumps, and driver door rear view mirror left movement: mirror switch.
Wrapped up a few removal projects:
1) Rear leveling system out
2) Rear shocks and lines out
3) Torsion bars out
4) TB crossmember out
5) Front steering out
6) Both front corner suspension assemblies out
7) Steering box and shaft are ready to drop
Have a long way to go but it feels good to make some progress. I bought my Ty from NC and I am happy I waited. I can't imagine this project with some of the Midwest Ty's I looked at.
Started out changing out the oil cooler lines to stop an oil leak decided to remove the turbo to put on my new turbo blanket then decided to tackle the motor mounts while i had it this far apart man how things can snowball quickly I hope this ends and it gets back together sooner than later.
